April 18th, 2008 - Emu engineers and Chicken Systems worked most of last year to bring you an update to their old Emulator X File Convertor. This time the entire apparatus is under Translator control, so quality is assured!

Upon release of the Emu EmulatorX3, included will be the new Translator EmulatorX Convertor™. Input formats are Akai S-1000/3000, Akai MPC, Emu EIII/ESi/Emax, Tascam GigaStudio 1 + 2, SoundFont, Native Instruments Kontakt 1 + 2, Steinberg HALion I and I.

This gives Emulator X3 users full access of many libraries, and also takes advantage of the advanced Emulator X3 architecture.
