April 18th, 2008 - Chicken Systems announces the release of Translator™ Windows version 2.9 Build 113.

The highlights:

Digidesign Structure comes to Translator! This powerful sampler is now fully supported, you can create your own Structure Patches from any source format. Plus Structure support gets all the Fix References treatment and everything else Translator has to offer.

Structure is quite a feature-packed sampler, it supports most common features plus it's workflow and interface is quite impressive.

->Structure support is coming the week of April 6th in the Translator Mac Beta.

Plus, Yamaha Motif XS support is now offical and implemented in Translator. The XS is the latest installment in Yamaha's line of workstations. It sounds great, and it's wonderful to work with. The XS can load sounds much, much faster then the ES or the Classic, plus it can contain much more memory. Also, the Element count per Voice has gone up to 8, as opposed to 4, so more complicated foreign Programs can be imported in.

This is worthy of note: You can convert INTO a current Motif All Voice file (.x0v, .w7v, or .w2v). This is extremely handy, as you don't have to create a new All Voice file, load the Voice into the Motif, and resave it. Simply add to your current file.

And this isn't just privy to the Motif - support for this extends to Fantom, Fusion, and Triton formats.

Registered owners can download the new update using the Auto Update function within Translator or by going to the Update Area (as listed in the Help File).
