WaveSample Parameters
To edit the WS name, click on the button. A window will appear, in which you may enter a new name. To the right of the WS name is a section to specify the WS Key Range. In the bottom section of the window are tabbed panels for editing the Pitch, Filter, Amp, LFO and Wave parameters associated with this particular WaveSample. For more information about these parameters, please refer to the Ensoniq user's manual. The Pitch section allows you to access Envelope 1 parameters. Envelope editing will be explained later in this tour. The following screen snapshots show the other WaveSample parameters. The displays may be a little different for your particular sampler model since not all parameters are the same for each model. The Filter section allows you to access Envelope 2. The Amp section allows you to access Envelope 3. LFOThe Wave section allows you set the sampler start, end, loop start, loop end, loop position parameters. This section also gives you access to view the actual wave sample. There are two options. You may either downloard the sample from the sampler, by clicking on the "From Sampler" button, or you can retrieve previously downloaded samples from a file by clicking on the "From File" button. If you view a sample from a file, it should be the same sample in which you are currently editing, otherwise the parameters may not be what you want (e.g. start and end parameters, etc.). However, you are permitted to import any (uncompressed) AIFF formatted sample that you want |
