April 24th, 2013 - It's gonna be time for the first minor version updates of Constructor™ and Kontakt Assistant™. (Note: we are planning version 2 of both programs at this moment too.)

We don't want to list the exact feature list of this minor version, because we are committing ourselves to a release-then-announce policy. Still, we do want to give you a teaser.

We are focusing a lot internally on new product videos. By this release, we will have MANY videos covering both programs, they are turning out great.

We are aiming to get all this released by Memory Day Weekend (American holiday, the weekend of May 25-27). Typically, we schedule our work by First Trimester (ending Memorial Day), Second Trimester (summer), and Third Trimester (ending New years Day of the next year). This is the end of the First Trimesters work. Also, completion of these updates allows us to finally manufacture the CD's and ship them out.

Constructor Update Features

Auto-Sampler: Our new Auto-Sampler is undergoing time-trials here and a sizeable version of it will appear in Constructor™. This will help import in ALL instruments, not just accessible file versions. You can import virtual instruments even if they are encrypted or inaccessible, and also external hardware instruments.

Pad Viewer: Many groove boxes (what they now call drum machines) work off a Pad paradigm. We've developed a Pad viewer so you can make your own Pad Grid drum kits without having to work off a chromatic keyboard paradigm. Again, you have full ability to export to any pad format - MPC, MV-8000, DR008, and much more.

More Import Formats: Yes, there are more import formats to support. Two which we'll reveal are MachFive 2/3, and Ableton's Sampler. There are many more coming.

Lot's Under The Hood: This includes revised sample reference and parameter editor, inclusion of the new Sample Database, a cleaned up main interface, and Mountain Lion support of reading and writing proprietary drives and disks. Plus more!

Kontakt Assistant Update Features

Kontakt 4 and 5 Support: Although the present KA can catalog any .nki file, we now can view the contents of K4.2 and 5 files, plus add tags onto the files.

Bulk Editor: The long-awaited and promised Bulk Editor is here. View the contents of most Kontakt files and change, rename, and shape them to your liking.

Lot's Under The Hood: This includes renaming sample references from the lists, better filtering of what you see in the interfaces, faster db operation, and Mountain Lion support. Plus more!
