SamplerTools... Not Just Three Apps

October 9th, 2009 - Bundles, or "Suites" of applications are popular these days. Often a company produces many products revolving around a similar these. Microsoft Office may be the most popular of these, consisting of several "productivity" programs - Word (word processing), Excel (spreadsheet), Outlook (email), and more.

Our version of the Bundle is SamplerTools™, which revolves around multisampled Instruments.

• Creation: Constructor™
• Conversion: Translator™
• Management: Instrument Manager™

However, we don't want to simply give our customers three programs and call it that. Fro the design point of view, we understand that all three disciplines overlap each other. For example, Creation of instruments wants to use Conversion to output it's "goods". Conversion sometimes uses Creation to convert something out of nothing. Management sometimes wants to use Creation to manage things appropriately.

So, when you purchase SamplerTools™, you will be getting not just three programs, but:

• Three Programs with extended capabilities
• An Added interface that does a little of all three programs, and also launches each full program as an "Advanced Mode" of operation.

We'll be talking a lot more about SamplerTools™ in the coming weeks. These function extensions and custom interface are scheduled to be completed late October 2009. Until then, SamplerTools™ consists of licenses to all 3 Chicken Systems mainline programs.
