About Translator

Translator Giga Edition is simply the ULTIMATE program
for transferring Sampler formats into .gig format.
You can do the following:
- Translate any
Ensoniq EPS/ASR, Emu E3/ESi/E4/EOS, Akai, Roland,
SoundFonts, .WAV, or AIFF file into Giga 1.0 or Giga 2.0
format.
- Translations
involve many options, depending on how THE sample is used
and how YOU use the sample.
- Single sound and
bulk (directories, folders, volumes, whole disks) are
available
- Audition samples
directly from the hard drive or CD-ROM through your
computer sound card.
Not only this, but you
get the powerful basics of Translator Full Edition which include:
- View the entire
contents of a proprietary formatted hard drive or CD-ROM.
Proprietary formats include Ensoniq, Emu, Akai, Roland,
and Kurzweil samplers.
- Copy-read sound
files (individual wavedata, Presets/Programs/Instruments/Patches
etc...) onto your computers hard drive for backup and
storage, or transfer that sound onto another proprietary
format hard drive.
- Format any
proprietary disk with the Ensoniq, Emu, Akai, Roland, or
Kurzweil format.
- Create CD-ROM Image
files of any format - these become "Virtual Drives"
which you can write files into, then you can burn a CD-ROM
from it using most popular CD-ROM burning programs.
What does this mean to
you?
- You can use ANY
sample format for use in your Giga instrument. For
example, you can buy Roland CD-ROM's and convert them
into the Gigasampler format for use in Gigasampler or
Gigastudio.
- Convert all your
old samplers libraries into Giga, then sell your old
sampler for quick cash - OR
- Download .WAV,
AIFF, or Soundfont files from the Internet and use them
on your Giga instrument.
- Backup your data
easily; make custom volumes or CD-ROM's with minimum of
hassle.
