Property Sheets

Property Sheets are where you can view AND edit any sampler file's parameters. These come up in the same fashion as Windows Explorer - right-click on a file or object in either the left and right pane, and select Properties. Depending on the file or object, a set of varied tabbed sheets will appear.

You can edit any parameter so listed, except, of course, the read-only types. All edits are saved in a temporary file on the hard drive, so all edits aren't written until you exit the property sheet with the OK button, or click on Apply. You can edit files/objects on a CD-ROM, but of course you can't write to a CD-ROM, so Translator will ask you if you want to write the file to a DOS Counterpart file or to another proprietary hard disk.

Not all Property Sheets may be available in this present version of Translator; more are added as time goes on.
