SampleCell I & II to Roland XV-5080 Translation

SampleCell I and II, Banks and Instruments are supported. You can import directly off Mac-formatted drives. PC SampleCell is supported as well; all .wav files must be in the same directory as the .ins file.

Roland Patches only support up to 4 "layers" (simultaneously available pieces of wavedata per key). See Roland XV page for more information how Translator converts objects which exceed this limitation.

This page refers to the new XV-5080 sample-playback machine. Translator will support both the S-700 and XV-5080 formats; it will be able to write to the older Roland proprietary format disk or Virtual Drive, and write the new XV-5080 .svd/.svp/.wav format.
