Ever want to perform the same edit on a number of Instruments? On any sampler this is difficult, since all samplers only allow ediitng one instrument at a time; PLUS you have to manually save them all over again.
The Bulk Editor allows you to make a common edit, in an absolute or a relative sense, on many sampler formats. (See the actual screen for supported formats; more are being added.)
To invoke this function:
- Simply select the folder of files you want to edit on the left.
- Select View-Bulk Editor to make the Bulk Editor appear on the right.
- Enter in your values. A blank field means the paramter will not be edited. Absolute means that this is the absolute value that will be edited. Relative means the Bulk Editor will take the current value and add the listed value. Note that the test next to the fields relate to the range of values that apply to that parameter, not what can be entered. This means you can put in -2000 for the Cutoff when in Relative mode, because you are asking for a 2000Hz decrease the in the Cutoff settings.
- To make the Bulk Editor write new edited files instead of overwriting the old ones, check the Write spereate modifed file check box.
- Click OK; Translator will parse the folder you selected and edit all the files you intend to edit.
