Double-Click Method

The Double-Click Method gives you another painless way to Click And Convert™. (Watch out for the trademark symbol, children, we mean business. <smile>)

Just double-click on the object you want to convert in the Right pane. This says to Translator™ "translate this object."

The function is exactly like right-clicking in the Right pane on an object and selecting Convert As... A dialog will then appear to ask what formats you want to convert to.

Important Note: The default behavior of Translator™ of double-clicking on a Container object (a folder, drive, or many sampler formats) is to make it appear in the Left pane so it's interior objects show on the Right pane. You can change this by selecting Double-Ciicking Translates in Options-General.

This method is limited to converting to DOS files, not proprietary drives such as Akai, Emu, and others.
