NI Kontakt to Emagic EXS-24 mkI & II Translation

Status: Implemented in the current version of Translator.

Kontakt 2 Support
Translator support to conversions from all Kontakt formats, including 1.2, 1.5, and Kontakt 2 Instruments, Multis, and Banks. This includes Kontakt 2 "monolith" formats (large .nki/.nkm/.nkb files with the sample data embeded in them), and Kontakt files that reference samples with .nks files. IMPORTANT: Most .nks files contain encrypted samples, and Translator DOES NOT decrypt these. So although you can translate the Kontakt files, the resulting sample data will be useless.

KeySwitching and Release Trigger Support
This format supports keyswitching, which is a function where pressing a non-sounding key (or a Patch Select in the case of Ensoniq) instructs the sampler engine to switch what samples play on what key.

This format also supports other similar features such as release trigger samples, samples manipulated by the sustain pedal, etc.

Since this source format may contain this type of information, it is supported by this destination.
