Sampler Tools Specifications

Instrument Manager™ is a powerful multi-instrument, cross-platform Instrument editor. It allows you to build any Instrument of any format, either by starting from scratch, or by importing any Instrument format as a starting point. You can merge Instruments or create Banks of Instrument, to export into one of the common Bank formats that exist (such as GigaStudio, SoundFont, or EmulatorX).

  • Mac 64-bit Minimum: OSX 10.10 Mavericks; Intel processors
  • Mac 32-bit Maximum: MacOS 10.14 Mojave; Intel/PPC processors (Universal Binary)
  • Mac 32-bit Minimum: OSX 10.4 Tiger; Intel/PPC processors (Universal Binary)
  • Win 64-bit Maximum: Windows 11
  • Win 64-bit Minimum: Windows 7
  • Win 32-bit Maximum: Windows 11
  • Win 32-bit Minimum: Windows XP SP3

Notes: floppy disk support only exists in 32-bit versions, and on WinXP. A Windows app works better as 64-bit on Windows versions 10 and up. Mac 64-bit apps are Intel, not Apple Silicon-native, but run on Rosetta 2 perfectly and transparantly.

Update Policy

  • All Updates within an app-class are free; you can update from the program itself, from the Registration Email (64-bit only, the link always represents the latest public version) or check the manual for the location of the Update Area (32-bit only).
  • Exception: Updating from 32-bit to 64-bit when all else is equal is a $29.95 charge.
