Ensoniq Disk Tools™ provide all the tools you need to manage and access your library of Ensoniq sounds.
Please note that this program applies only to the Ensoniq EPS, EPS 16-PLUS, and ASR-10/88 samplers, and TS-10/12 disks, and not to ANY OTHER Ensoniq unit.
Main Features
Read. Write. Format.
Read and write and format any type of Ensoniq disk, be it floppy, CD, hard disk, ZipDisk, memory card, or image.
Convert Files.
Take your own WAVE or AIFF files and create full Ensoniq instrument from them, AND write them to disk. Or the other way - extract samples from your Instruments as WAVE/AIFF files. And it doesn't stop there: take MIDI files from your computer and make Ensoniq Songs from them - AND write them to disk. And likewise, vis-versa - take your Ensoniq Songs and make new MIDI files from them.
Extract That Bank.
Many times, you use a floppy to hold a Bank, a Song, and the Instruments that are played in the Song. Ensoniq Disk Tools has a great function that, with one click, extracts the Instruments and Song, makes a MIDI file, and sets up your Instruments like the Bank sets it up, along with a TEXT file that gives you all the pertiant information. This makes putting it up in your DAW a snap!
Edit any Instrument OR Bank OR Song.
Get into any Instrument, Bank, or Song and view it's makeup. You can even edit it's contents, to fine tune it or correct some errors, whatever you'd like.
Handle Disk Images, File Images, everything else.
Not only can you handle Ensoniq disks, you can handle any image file, like a Giebler or GKH or RAW disk image, or any file image (.efe, .efa). And, pretty much anything regarding Ensoniq disks we've packed into this wide-ranging program.
