Real-time ASR-X editing via MIDI Sys-Ex

Best for editing. Use this module to change sounds and audition them immediately. Module also updates a simultaneous copy on your hard drive (doesn't have to be the actual ASR-X SCSI drive). Save entire banks of sounds for instant recall or programming. Organize different sounds in different areas. Deals only with parameters. Includes full effect control and creation of new ROM sounds from scratch.

The is a small bug on Ensoniq's part that partly hinders the process. When you request a parameter dump from a EPS/ASR translated sound, the ASR-X does not give you the entire contents of the sound. Fortunately, you can use Module 1 to read the parameters from the disk file, and you can alter any parameter from there.
